We are thrilled that Engage (the National Association for Gallery Education) have this year, decided to hold their international conference Rules of Engagement: Art, Conflict and Gallery Education in Brighton to tie in with Brighton Photo Biennial. The conference examines the role of art, artists and gallery educators in sites or situations of conflict and includes a presentation from Julian Stallabrass, visits to BPB exhibitions and contributions from the Biennial education programme.
